In 2002, Mr. Alavi was part of the nation’s largest commercial investment brokerage firm, Marcus & Millichap, where Mr. Alavi specialized in multifamily Investments. Highlighting his experience with a portfolio strategy exceeding 1 billion dollars for Charles Schawb. In 2004, Mr. Alavi joined non-profit organization California Cities Home Ownership Authority (CCHOA), which made home ownership possible for impoverished families. In 2009, Mr. Alavi founded a silicon valley Real Estate software startup Listing Ocean, Inc. Mr. Alavi founded Alavi International Real Estate, Inc. DBA Alavi Agency. The brokerage focuses on individualized customer service by combining technology and advocacy enabling transactions to evolve into a better overall consumer experience.
